Born To The Purple

I've been hearing a lot of buzz about Kleancolor polishes. I had never heard of them so when I came across this lovely, I had to try it out. I must say this color is adorable! I actually layered this over Zoya Mira (found here). Born To The Purple is a lovely purple with Hex glitter and smaller glitter throughout. The base is jelly and not opaque. I'm not sure how many coats to make it opaque, so that is why I layered it. Plus, I thought it would look so pretty on top of Mira :-) and I believe I was right.

Born To The Purple has a very thick consistency. I think I'll try to thin it with polish thinner in order to achieve a better consistency. It wasn't too difficult to handle because I had the base color already on my nails.

Born To The Purple did change the color of Mira, this color took over and I really liked that as well. It didn't simply layer over Mira as if it were a clear base. The hex glitters applied with no issues. I didn't have to fight to get them on the nail.

I used two coats of Mira and two coats of Born To The Purple.
