butter LONDON Slapper -Teal for PCOS

September is PCOS and Ovarian Cancer Awareness month. I wanted to do my share and bring awareness to PCOS because there are a lot of women struggling with this. So by wearing teal we bring awareness to his disease. PCOS is Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. Here is their foundation page to give you more information.

Heidi from diypolish is a friend of mine/twin (same birthday) asked bloggers from the nail community to come up with teal manicures for her post. You can see her post here. I didn't do my mani in time, but I promised her that I still go through with it.

My teal manicure today is butter LONDON Slapper! I am in love with this one! My hubby surprised me a few weeks back with new butter LONDON polishes, my firsts!! Slapper has been a lemming of mine and I am so excited to tell you guys that I love it!! It is a dark teal creme. It has a very smooth finish and excellent application. The formula was AMAZING!!

In the pictures, I used two coats and no top coat. The pictures are not color accurate. I really am disappointed in my camera! It captured Slapper either to green or too blue. UGH!! Nonetheless, here she is...

Looky:

too blue

too blue

too yellow, but getting more color accurate

nope!

I really do love slapper and wished my camera would take color accurate photos. I'm so sorry guys, but this doesn't take anything away from Slapper.

Here's a shot from my iPhone4:

Sorry about the quality. The color
here is better, but still not great.

I have nothing bad to say about my first swatched butter LONDON. I really loved this fomula and if my other two are just as good as this one, I'll be a happy blogger.

Thank you for reading,
xoxo -Tamala

  1. That is an amazing color and most certainly looks fantastic on you! I don't have any butters yet but I believe you about the formula, it looks super smooth!

  2. I had the exact same problem photographing this color! It's really beautiful IRL, though, huh?
